ABV: 4.4%. Light hazy to clear loooking, with a medium amber colour, a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, nutty notes, light vanilla - maple touch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, caramelized malt, nutty, vanilla - maple touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at Great Derbyshire Beer Festival. Pours a murky burgundy with a small off-white head and good lacing. Vanilla features very strongly in the aroma here – and perhaps there is maple as well ? Vanilla again in the mouth, along with rye-bread and some autumn fruits, on a base of sweet caramel. A little bitterness comes in at the finish. This is very pleasant – and more mainstream than its description implies.

Third, gravicask, at the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body, missing head, fragile lacing. Vanilla sweet malty aromas. Nuts and caramel to the taste buds, distant notes of leaves. Ends rather sweet and malty. Accepted. (25.10.2019).

Delt med Rune på the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival 2019. Mørk amber. Filmskum. Tung fruktaroma. Smaken vanilje. Søt & tørr bitter ettersmak.
