Sampled from tap at Leiden Winterbier Festival. Black with light tan head. Deep roasted, ashy malts, molasses, rotting wood, moldy licorice. Medium sweet, light sour and bitter. Medium body low prickly carbonation.

Tap at Winterbierfestival Leiden. Black with light brown head. Lots of roasted malts, black berries, lots of leather, tobacco, light cow dung, hay, ash. Just medium sweet and medium bitter. Also some sourness underneath.Medium bodied. Not very good, again.
