Golden, Hoppy, Refreshing – Dry and refreshing golden beer made with only Pale Malt and British hops with an earthy, herbal, hop character The 1986 athletic season turned into a ‘gold rush’ for Portsmouth Grammar’s ex-Head Boy, Roger Black, who spectacularly scooped up gold medals for the 400m Sprint at both the Commonwealth and European Championships

Third, keg, shared with Finn at Brewhouse & Kitchen. Dotted spots on the glass from a low sized white head. Next-to-clear warm golden body. Fresh and dried fruity aromas. Blended taste of apricot and citrus with a little malty sweetness beneath. Notes of resinous bitterness to the ending. Satisfying. (Southsea 23.10.2019).

Delt med Rune. Gyldengulbrun. Lavt tett skum. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken søte druer. Behagelig. Lett tørr avslutning.

15/7/2019. Cask at the Brewhouse & Kitchen, Southsea. Pours cloudy pale golden orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, tropical fruit, malt, flowers and light vanilla. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a hint of tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Definitely one of the best B&K cask beers I’ve tried.

Cask @ BK Southsea. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are citrus, fruits, flowers, malt and has a nuce dry citrussy hoppy finish.
