In celebration of the history of pubs whose mediaeval origin comes from when brewing was carried out in the home by women, and as beer grew in popularity the best ‘ale wives’ started to open up their homes and sell their beer, and as these became gradually more commercial in the 19th century, the ‘public house’ was born. This very site was one of these; changing its usage from a domestic house to a ‘public house’ and locally named as the ‘Brewers Arms’ in testament to the great beer it produced.

Cask at B&K Poole. Grainy malty aroma. Amber. Frothy translucent off-white head with 50% coverage. Medium bitter. Sour edge. Butent sugar sweetness into the finish. All about the malts. Light bodied. Thin with a chalky residue. Flat carbonation. Long finish. Nice enough

Third, cask ale at Brewhouse & Kitchen Poole. Shared with Finn. Hazy amber body, missing head, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of leafy hops. Bread-like malts and leafy hops to a rather restrained taste profile. Mid-dry bitter endnotes. Accepted. (Poole 22.10.2019).

Delt med Rune. Mørk rødbrun. Mokkafarget filmskum. Nesten klar. God plommearoma. Smaken svakt metallisk. Tørket frukt. Tørr avslutning.

14/7/2019. Cask at the Brewhouse & Kitchen (Poole). Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, biscuit and fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness.

Cask @ Brewhouse & Kitchen, Poole. Small head with short duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, hops and malt. Sweet caramel and fruity finish.
