Jussi otti joviaalina miehenä luulot pois ja maistettuaan tuotetta näki näyn laulavasta keulakuvasta. Lopputulema komeilee etiketissä. Äärimmäisen tyytyväisiä ja ylpeitä ollaan tästä. Bottled (from Sonnisaari Brewery Shop). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, very much sugary with some mild chocolate. Flavour is burnt sugar, alcohol, some sweet liquorice, mild toast. Overly sweet, but otherwise has the elements of a good one.

330ml bottle, batch #161,bought from djoeye. Shared with Finn. The oily pour reveals a coal black body under a remaining fawn-coloured head. Clingy lacing. Roasted dark malty smell, mid-sweet with hints of liquorice, appealing. Smooth chocolate malty flavours with hints of liquorice, earth, ash and a note of coffee to a lingering roasted, warming ending. Well bodied. Much appreciated. (Tromsø 15.10.2019).

Tilveiebrakt av djoeye. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda. Svart. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken sammensatt. Mye lakris- men også sjokolade. Balansert. Alkoholisk tørr avslutning. Hint av kokosnøtt.

Smell of roasted malt, some cocoa. Dark brown colour, dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, ash, vinegar. Finishes with cocoa. Bitter, also acidic sour. Lively carbon, half-heavy body, yet lighter than ABV would suggest.

Draught @ Craft Beer Winter Wonderland, Helsinki. Roasty, dry and earthy with some coffee, chocolate and licorice. Heavy and dry, a bit harsh.

Bottled 330ml (from brewery shop) Opaque colour, small brownish head. Roasted malts, cocoa, alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Roasted, dry with tart sensation coffee and quite boozy. This brut IS is nice exp but not really impy I like.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20181126) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had liquorice, dark chocolate and smoke. Palate was full bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, pine, liquorice, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, liquorice and bitterness. A pleasant hoppy imperial stout. Very easy to drink.

Tap at Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Color is almost black with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, dryness, some cocoa, some chocolate and roasted malts. Hard to believe 11.8abv, superb drinkability.

Keg @ Sori Taproom. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Aroma has chocolate, milky notes, cocoa. Lots of flavor, chocolate, cocoa, milky sweetness, light roast. Long finish. Solid.
