Surface yeast specialty from Germany. The combination of barley malt, surface yeast and higher fermentation temperature creates a unique old-fashioned flavor profile. The beer has a reasonable alcohol content, mild hops and a fruity taste of alcohol as well as a single acidity. The perfect companion for summer and thirst!

Bottle. Amber colour with a mediumsized foamy/creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is grainy, some plum, mild toasted and smoked meaty tones along with some earth. Flavour is quite similar to the elements of the aroma, but also has some yeasty tones to it. A bit high on the carbonation.

Big swing-top bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Rocky, pearl white head, clingy lacing, cloudy apricot coloured body. Vague smell of grass, slightly perfumed. Yeasty fruitiness to the flavour profile, hints of citrus. Mid-tart, dry endnotes. Soft in the mouth. Accepted. (Session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 14.10.2019).

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune på Nerstranda. Farlig hissig. Kjempehøyt skum som daler passe fort. Uklar. Litt syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken svakt medisinsk. Sånn passe.
