Based on a traditional Nut Brown Ale, featuring Maris Otter Pale, Oat and Brown malts, hopped in the traditional manner with Fuggles and Goldings. However, we've fermented this with a Belgian Abbaye yeast for a beautifully complex flavour. Enjoy!

On cask at Criterion in Leicester. Shared with Finn. Dark amber body, unclear. Spotty lacing from a diminishing beige head. Nutty malts on the nose. Earth and nuts to a malt driven taste profile, hints of vingar. Ends with sourish malts. Not in its best condition at the pub. (11.02.2019).

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swansea Beer Festival 25/8/2018. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish ale, with some berry fruits, brown sugar, leafy hops and a slightly bitter finish. Fine.
