Bottle from White Cross, Lancaster. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light corn and light hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 090220

Bottle at Romney's Gastro Pub, Kendal. Appearance - golden with a generous fluffy head. Nose - sweetcorn and green beans. Pale malt. Taste - lemon, light caramel and custard. Green beans on the periphery. Palate - creamy and dry. Light bodied. Overall - ok.

12/3/2019. Bottle from Tapped, Leeds. Pours clear pale gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of grain, sweet malt, light citrus, grass and flowers. Quite heavy sweetness, minimal bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet finish. Bland, not up to Hawkshead’s usual standard.

Half pint, bottle from at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Spotty lacing from low white head. Bright golden in the glass. Vague notes of lemon and pale malts on the nose. Pale malty taste with citric notes. Ends mid dry. Easy going. (Manchester 05.02.2019).
