On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen. It's an unclear amber to brown beer with a nice-looking finger-thick beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is malty and bready, with caramel and some smoked meat. It's full-bodied and soft on the palate, with a nice sweetness. Malt-driven flavor too, quite a lot of dark bread and caramel, borderline toffee, with more meatyness than the aroma. Some herbal hints and dark chocolate too. Some bitterness kicking in towards the finish, maybe even too much I think. At least considering the rest of the flavor profile. But it's sure a fine brew. 190608

Håndverkerølfestivalen 2019. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is smoked, caramel. Flavor is smoked, roasted malt, yeast, coffee, caramel, bread, grass, berries. Nice beer.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish smoked, weeds, shed, minerals, sap, caramel malts, sour grass, hay, soil, fruit stones, yeast, toast. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, shed, minerals, bark, sour grass, caramel malts, yeast, smoked weeds, hay, paper, soil. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar, shared with Finn. Deep dark red coloured body, low filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting smell of almond and dark fruits, lightly smoked. Nicely integrated smoked malts with almond, dark fruits, and beets. Lingering ending of mid-dry dark fruits. Well bodied. Enjoying. (Tromsø 04.02.2019).
