On tap at the brewpub. It's almost black in the glass, with a creamy beige head leaving curtains. The aroma is quite roasted, with coffee and notes of burnt down bonfire, without the smoke though. It's mostly dry on the palate, creamy and medium bodied, with a flavor of roasted malts, bonfire without smoke, coffee and some prunes. Lasting finish. Sort of one-dimensional this one, but a fine brew anyway. 190607

Solid black pour with a thick fine beige head that leaves a nice lacing down the sides of the glass. Looks good. Pleasant mellow aroma also. A fine mellow carbonation level made it very easy to drink. Semi dry ending. Roast, coffee and oat in the flavor. [On tap @ source]
