Yes. Very much yes. 240 litres of puréed apple to be precise. Pastry sour - so sweet balance with a not overpowering sourness. It's like a warming winter apple pie filling - sweet and tart apple, with just enough cinnamon to give it another dimension.. and then that vanilla custard flowing over the top.
And named after the ultimate Christmas film. (YES IT IS)

Can ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Aroma is vinous with sharp apple and cinnamon on the edge. Hazy apricot. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Initial sourness - acidic apple - with a dry cinnamon edge. The cinnamon goes up a notch before being joined by the vanilla for a touch of Creme Anglais. Some booze on the periphery. Medium bodied. Slick to oily. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Pretty much spot on. A boozy pie.

Can at home. Pours hazy yellow orange, nose is apple, funk, slight biscuit, taste is sweet, juicy apple, custard cream, light on the cinnamon.

Cloudy golden colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are light cinnamon, tart apples. Tart taste with light vanilla. Creamy body.
