Bottle. Pretty clear amber body with a thin amber head. Mild aroma of light dark malt and coffee. Flavor is not particular sweet, dark malt, slightly harsh like citric zest, hint of milk chocolate. Thin bodied, almost a bit watery and aftertaste in the same direction. This one sounds quite exiting on the paper, but ends up mostly like some unbalanced mess. Drinkable, but not very nice and rather boring.

330ml bottle, lot 01/18, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Small fawn-coloured head, jet black body, spotty lacing. Restrained aroma of cocoa and ripe citrus. Dark malty flavours, hints of liquorice and cocoa, joined by dark fruits. Malt-fruity end, liquorice and orange peels. Medium bodied. Just alright. Promising more than it can offer, perhaps.
