Deep (dark) golden color with a fine head. Ok lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a soft carbonation level. Balanced sweetness and an oily texture. Dried fruits, toffee and bready flavor. Decent enough. Plain and easy drinkable.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 14 Jan 18. Delt med Rune. Mørk gylden. Middels høyt tett kritthvitt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Underlig aroma. Ovemodne plommer. Ikke god. Smaken som aromaen. Kjedelig.

Seems to have gain new life. Finn and I had this one as Abbey Ale, 6. 3 % at the brewpub, 300ml draught. Pearl white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Bright copper coloured body. Rather restrained aroma of candy sweet malts. Caramel malty flavours, hints of bread, and yeast. Mid-sweet brown malty ending. Medium bodied. Soft in the mouth. Fair enough. (Berlin 14.01.2018).

Draught at Herman’s tap session. Caramel brown with a large off white head. Aroma is nut and toffee. Flavour is a bit thin, gentle malty caramel, second one tasted better, tastes like a Hops and Barley beer which are generally solid.
