Bottle at home. Thick malty caramel aroma with notes of dried fruits, toffee, prunes, a slight herbal touch and a hint of warming alcohol. Flavour is sweet and light bitter with a bittersweet finish. Body is medium. Quite sweet and a bit warming dried fruity caramel Doppelbock, decent.

Sampled from tap at Leiden Winterbier Festival. Cloudy amber and white head. Sweet caramel, big yeast, soft sour dough. Light sweet, moderate leathery bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Finish is bit dirty, almost salty. Strange.

Tap at Winterbierfestival Leiden. Hazy orange brown with cream colored head. Figs, light bubblegum, alcohol, overripe fruits, caramel, milky, oats. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.
