Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, light smoke, caramel and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, coffee, licorice and light smoked finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Boks 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda 26 Okt 17. Svart. Middels høyt brunt skum. Sjokoladearoma. Smaken melkesjokolade. Blir tørr etter hvert. Litt søt.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter. The oily pour revealed a jet black body under a moderate tan-coloured head leaving clingy lacing down the glass. Roasted dark malty nose, hints of ash and liquorice. The taste character has got impacts of dark chocolate, coffee, soot, and liquorice added by a slight touch of smoked malts towards the finish. Fine depth. Likable. (Hotel room, Bergen 04.10.2017).

01.09.2017, 0,33l can sampled @ Bergen Ølfestival:
Nice slightly bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, dark malts, bloodlike minerals, weeds, hay, yeast, grass, toast, alcohol, sour coffee. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, dark malts, yeast, hay, bloodlike minerals, grass, weeds, metal tank, toast, sour coffee, alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
