Hazy dark amber with dark off white head - Some hints of roasted malt in the aroma - Malt body with some hints of roasted malt with hints of smoke and some yeasty kveik notes - The malt goes into the finish with hints of smoke and yeast - This was interesting and nice

Can 330ml (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes)
Dark brown colour, small off-white head. Sour aroma has some bready maltyness. Medium-bodied. Sticky tartness, caramel and strawberry jam. Weird kveik-beer. I am not fan.

Can, #321, almost three years before bbd. Pours cloudy dark brown, with a finger thick, mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, grainy notes, prunes and dark fruits, as well as spicy notes of camphor and herbal notes. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet malty notes, with bread and smoke, as well as earthy farmhouse, leather, wood and light spicy, herbal notes.

330ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A cloudy brown-reddish body. Mostly remaining off-white head, leaving clingy lacing behind. Moderate aroma of bread, dough and discreet dried fruits. Blended taste of rye bread, dark dough and yeast followed by a rounded ending of bitter jam-like fruits. Smooth in the mouth. Interesting with a developing taste character. (Enjoyed on a Saturday evening at home in Tromsø, 30.09.2017).

On tap Patrick’s. An almost clear reddish brown beer with a creamy, finger thick beige head. Lacing. The aroma is rather delicious, with prunes, raisins, red apples, some roasted malts, hints of orange zest, a wonderful kveik-ish fruityness that is quite difficult to pin. There’s some resemblance to a Flandern red and brown as well. The flavor is pretty much the same, perhaps more in the bready, caramel way than the aroma, with less prunes and raisins. It’s super smooth and semi dry on the palate, with a lasting fruity finish. Yet another delicious beer from Voss. 161026
