Bottle (from Alko). Rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is spices, apple, cinnamon, alcohol and some slight nutty tones. Flavour is cinnamon, toastes, clove, cinnamon, some nutty tones with mild wheat and some alcohol sweetness as well.

Flaske 500ml. Påspandert. Delt med djoeye og Rune hos førstnevnte 31 Aug 17. Ultramørk amber. Filmskum med litt farge. Aroma av eple. Smaken det samme. Uvariert.

500ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Filmy beige layer. Dark brown body, close to clear. Fair lacing. Smell of dark dough and brown malts. Sweet taste of wheat, dough, caramel, and dry apples, spiced with clove and cinnamon. Warming, sweet ending. Rather complex and heavy to drink. (Joint rating session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 31.08.2017).

Deep dark brown beer with good beige head. Aroma has strong wheat malts, smoke and hints of apple. Taste has malts, wheat, smoke and cinnamon. Also spices. Quite full body, not too heavy though. Gets better when warmer.

Smell of yeast, banana, apple, cinnamon. Dark brown colour, brown head. Starts off as weizen with yeasty and banana notes, then apple, cinnamon and some muscot kicks in. Sweet with a faint spicy bitterness. Flat carbon, viscous texture. Not a bad combo, actually...

Bottle 0.5l at home, Oulu. Colour is murky brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Spices, cinnamon, bread, biscuits, nuts and malts. Too spicy for me.

Dark ruby-brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is perfumic, spicey with apple and cinnamon. Medium-bodied. Banana, toasted notes, yeast, Christmas spices, a bit alcoholic. Not much of apple here. Very Christmasbeery - decent weizenbock hammered with spices.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 01/18, from Alko, 20170210) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had malts, ripe banana and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, ripe banana, apples and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, spicy and bitter. A decent strong hefeweizen with twist. The apples were subtle enough.
