Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of bread and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

33cl Bottle brought from Spain by a collegue, thanks Rebecca! Slightly hazy golden amber colour, dense white head. Aroma of grain, alcohol, fruits, toffee sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, caramel, syrup. Alcoholic finish, tastes more alcoholic than ABV indicates. Not bad for this type of beer though.

Bottled(330ml). -From Coop supermarket in Torri d’Europa, Trieste.
Nice amber coloured, medium sized tan head, malty alcoholic nose. Sweet malty and slight caramel aroma with notes of nuts and toffee. Also notes of alcohol but in a pleasant way. Long lasting malty aftertaste. Excellent beer. This is Vienna, not ESL.

Cream-coloured head, fast gone; foxy-red to orange, clear beer, quite cognac like. Lightly alcoholic, very biscuity nose, cake & light caramel. Brandy cake. Bitterish-sweet alcoholic taste, still some brandy notes but with a tannine-like, woody bitterish lining. Little vanilla flavour. Creamy MF, better bodied than most strong lagers. Aftertaste keeps the bitter lining, becoming walnutpeel-like. "European Strong Lager" is often a nicer description for malt liquors from the old continent. This, however, is better than most examples. Tad harsh, but deserving for this wine country. Big thanks scaenepe!

Dark amber color with a nice nose of apricot and oranges. Rich syrupy body that is surprisingly light, oranges with a rich finish. Not bad.

Light amber color. Sweet aroma, malty and fruity. Warming, balanced, but missing an aromatic hopping. Reasonable Strong Lager.

Amber, generous head; toasty, burnt, but not big enough in its maltiness (especially considering its size).
