Bottle. A dense, dark beige head, two-finger thick, forms over a clear looking chestnut colored body, leaving curtains on it's way down towards the bottom. The aroma has toffee and dark dried fruit, some chocolate and roasted malts, a light hoppy fruityness and a light damp forest touch. It's quite velvety on the palate, yet with a bit heavy carbonation. Semi-sweet and medium bodied, with a gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, dark dried fruit, some toffee, dark chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Some hazelnut too, and a touch of dark rye bread. Dries up towards the finish, but still feels a bit cloying. Quite nice anyway. 240820

500 ml bottle, batch #0267, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Mahogany colour, huge off-white head. Aroma of roast malts, toast of brown bread, burnt breadcrumbs, a hint of chocolate. Fairly dry and "clean" flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, also a slight fruitiness throughout.
