A refreshing Spanish beer, sticking to its original recipe since 1904. Easy to drink, with a thirst quenching bitterness.

33cl can in my Barcelona hotel room on 18th Jan 2017. Bog standard lager/pilsner here: clear, clean and golden in colour, snowy white unlasting head. Slight bitterness, mild sweetness. Nothing to make it stand out from the crowd, equally nothing to upset your taste buds or other senses. Refreshing and that’s about it.

Can and on-tap: Poured a clear golden color ale with a nice white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of light adjunct notes with some residual sugar notes is OK. Taste is a mix of residual sugar notes with some adjunct and light cereal notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Another pale lager with too much residual sugar and limited flavours.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Aroma of graininess, apples, paper. Slightly sweetish flavor with apples, a bit of paper, bitterish finish. Light-bodied.

Caña en los 100 montaditos Madrid. Zona plaza Santa Ana. 27..11..2015. (r07). Color dorado transparente con espuma blanca poco persistente. Aromas y sabores maltosos y cereales con muy Ligero amargo final. Algo tosca y cuerpo fácil de beber espumoso. Fresca y refrescante nada más.
