Fra cask på Seven Stars Bristol 1 Mai 17. Svart. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig amber. Filmskum med litt farge. Aroma av røstet malt. Smaken rosin. Tørr avslutning.

Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn attending Beeriodical at Seven Stars. Coal black body, small fawn-coloured head, fair lacing. Slightly roasted dark malty nose, doughy. Black malty flavours including a chocolate touch. Lightly roasted ending. Decent mild version. (Bristol 01.05.2017).

No longer retired. Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 3/5/2017. Dark, deep, brown, with a thin, off-white, head. Sweetish, easy drinking, with some tart damson fruits, touch of brown sugar sweetness and gentle finish. Fine.
