Hornigold – as mentor to Bristol’s most notorious historical son ‘Blackbeard’ the pairing had a penchant for seizing ships which carried cargos of spirits, wines and other delectables, and not as you might think, in the grey, cold waters off the coast of Benjamin Hornigold’s home county of Norfolk, but they chose to ‘operate’ their craft of piracy in the sunnier, warmer climes of the Caribbean! Enjoy a pint of our memorable Blonde ale and toast their notoriety

Cask, half pint shared with Finn at Brewhouse & Kitchen. Spotty lacing from a low white head. Hazy grey-golden body. Grain and citrus on the nose. Grapefruit and bread to the taste buds. Decent partner to the feta salad. (Bristol 30.04.2017).
