8th July 2016: on tap in a Barcelona bar down by the beach somewhere. Drank it before meeting up with the RBESG guys at 11.00. Hazy, light yellow pour into a vase shaped glass, an off-white head sat there at first, but soon faded. Lemon (as you’d expect by the name) dominants the nose and taste with a fairly sour feel throughout, yet there is a trace of sweetness too. Ideal refreshing first beer of what turned out to be a long day of drinking once we all met up.

Can, 0.33l. Cloudy pale straw color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, dusty and citric. Taste starts moderate sweet bready, follows by refreshing lemon, crisp mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light body, sticky texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not so bad for a radler...

33cl bottle from Rema 1000 Årvoll, Oslo. Pours hazy very pale yellow. Aroma of lemon and not much more, feels a little bit different from ordinary lemon sodas, but closer to that than to beer. Well crappy beer, but fairly refreshing shandy with a nice acidity (quite a lot of sweetness too, but). Just got back from a bike ride and as the German calls this "radler" i might just be the right setting.

Can from Lidl’s Spanish weeks :) Pours a hazy lime green yellow, topped with big fluffy white head. Mild artificial lime aroma. A bit sugary, fake citruses and a bit grapefruity bitter. A bit fake but passable.

Beer? Alcopop more likely. Greenyellow-ish colour. Massive lemon nose. Deep lemon/lime flavour. Absolutely ok on a hot summer day but..... Rated it as a summerbreezer - not a beer.

Kort ettersmak. Blir flat mot slutten.
