KRS 070117. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is berries, malt. Flavor is berries, malt, fruit, caramel, bread, nuts, yeast. OK beer.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Larvik. Batch #106. Gyldenbrun med et lite rødskjær. Veldig høyt kremaktig skum som etterlater pene filigranser. Lett maltaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lett krydret med karamell i bakgrunnen. Harmonisk & godt øl. Litt bunnfall.

Bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber. Light beige head. Quite carbonated. Some careful aroma of heather, forest floor, biscuits and a little caramel and rowan berries. The flavor reflects the aroma, but the malt is more pronounced with sweet oatcakes and dried apricots. Has a smooth and soft mouthfeel, medium body, light bitterness. Fruity and malty ale with notes of wild yeast. Exciting beer but unsure whether it is suppose to be like this.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear dark golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma has butterscotch, popcorn and caramel malt. Flavor has a lot of butterscotch, sweet malt and slightly harsh bitterness. Not much fruit recognized here. Medium body. Rather boring, not very nice and a big disappointment from this brewery this time.

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, caramel and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel, yeasty and hint of popcorn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden to amber colored beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma is lightly fruity, with caramel, bread and some nuts. Hints of popcorn in the flavor, with caramel, bread and nuts, with a good dash of fruityness. It’s medium bodied, soft and pleasantly carbonated, with a lasting fruity, caramel and bread finish.
