Suodattamaton kuparinvärinen IPA. Reilun hedelmäinen tuoksu. Maussa emmervehnän pehmeyttä ja lämmittävää maltaisuutta. Vivahteikas ja katkera jälkimaku. Malmgård Imperial IPA on parhaimmillaan noin 8–10 -asteisena nautittuna.

50 cl bottle @ home. BBE 24.02.2018.
Aroma has tropical fruits, resin and biscuits. Flavour has fruit juice, resin, caramel and jam. Finishes with faint traces of alcohol. Balanced and pleasant. Probably the best Malmgård I’ve had.
Have your one cold, this gets boozy tones when warming up.

A dark orange beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has nice tropical notes, mangos and papaiyas, unfortunately also notes of vegetables. Taste has caramel maltyness, some pine, medium bitterness. Medium+ bodied, low carbonation. Not so pure as should be. Decent.

Bottle in Stones bar, Helsinki. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin but sweetish malt base, some caramel. Good orange peel hops and marmalade. hop spice and mild pine. Pithy peel dry finish. Peel bitterness lingers on. Solid DIPA.

(Re-rate, keg at CBH2016) The solvent parts were missing. Way better beer. (Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 15.02.2018, at William K. Kurvi, 20160309) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, resin, booze, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, boozy and bitter. A double IPA likes of which don’t please me. Too much solvent-like things here and there. Score : 2.9
