Cask by gravity as Salcombe Devon Amber, half pint, shared with Finn at The Old Fire House. Lacing rings down the glass from a film type layer. Clear amber body. Restrained malt-fruity smell. Flavoured with dried fruits, brown malts and backed by vague leafy hops. Bittersweet endnotes. Rather thin bodied. A bit empty in the mouth (Pub crawl in Exeter 28.09.20

Bottle from Crocombe’s, Lynmouth, as Salcombe Devon Amber. Copper with a thin head. Session bitter with a more dominant hoppiness than maltiness, especially in its aroma.
