Bottle. It's lightly hazy in the glass, pale golden in color, with a small white head. Quite sickening, fruity aroma, with apple and orange notes, doughy malts, grass and a touch of pine cones. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, with a light sweetness. Doughy pale malts, orange, apple hints, some piney notes and a faint peppery hint. Too sweetish and doughy in the finish too. Not much interesting going on here. 220706

500 ml bottle, as Hanseaten Bergen Blonde Ale, from Coop Extra Øvre Årdal. ABV is 4.7%. Very pale yellow colour, huge white head. Moderate aroma of herbal and slightly spicy hops, also grainy notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour of grain, dust, wort and just a hint of fruit, hardly any bitterness, overall bland, dull and utterly boring.

Skyet. Lavt tett skum. Lett syrlig fruktaroma. Spor av krydder. Smaken svakt krydret. Sursøt. Gjennomgående smak av smørmalt. Sånn passe.

500ml bottle from Helga. Snow white head blanketing the glassware. Misty yellow-gold body. Discreet aroma of grain added by a citric touch. Flavoured with mid-sweet lemon and grainy malts. Subdued bittersweet finish. Pretty average stuff (shared with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 07.09.2016).
