Pours a clear golden color, topped with a frothy white head. Mild malty aroma, grainy, Slightly skunky. Taste is sweet and light, watery, with very little bitterness in the end. Not much to taste there.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with very light head. Aromas of perfume and grain and maybe a bit of lime ’cause it was stuffed in the bottle when served. Flavors of paper, corn and grain. I’ll say it’s better than Corona though; goes well with Habenaros, and served when really cold.

Funny how this one has slipped by over the years. It’s the kind of beer you just half expect to eventually get around to, but somehow never do. But not now! I procured a solid six-pack in Veracruz and am ready to get to know this beer deeply, in depth, for the better of mankind. And that hairy old guy on the commercials. Out of the bottle and into a glass it pours very average gold but with almost no head sadly - minus a point for that. The aroma is a mix of corn and lemon, very soft, almost not noticeable. The flavour is a soft cardboard tempered by a bit of citrus and malt, followed by a dry finish. Even in the realm of pale lagers, this is below average. But it did satisfy my thirst, and I wouldn’t turn it down if I was in the desert. Though I might give it a little thought....

On draft at an chili´s in Braintree, MA. Watery in the glass, no head, a lot of CO2 pearls are fast growing up. Nothing on the nose. Very low malt, low bitterness, maybe low grainy, rice? Boring, never more.

Uh-oh, green bottle, well, ok, let’s give this a fair shot as I’ve had this more than enough times.
I’ve had this in a pint glass and a pilsener.
The appearance was a decent light colored amber with a decent transparency to it. The head was barely there but what there was - was less than a half finger’s worth and died within seconds. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had some light cooked caramel malts with a slight toastiness to it.
The taste was kinda sweet but that was about it.
On the palate, it sat fairly light and didn’t really show much else to it. The carbonation was there for the style, and was okay to me.
Overall, this was a light version of a Vienna Lager that hmmm....would I have again? Maybe, depending upon what else was served.
