Deep chestnut brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a soft malt loaf aroma. Smooth and creamy, sweet bready malt with delicate floral hops, a touch of bitterness and a dry finish.

Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby Pours the classic orange / brown colour of a traditional bitter with a small white head. Nose has aromas of hazelnuts and dark fruits. Nuts feature again in the mouth, alongside cherries and toffee. Finish a dry and hoppy. Quite nice – I prefer it to their other bitter (Ay Up).

Half-pint, cask ale shared with Finn at New Zealand Arms. Low off-white head, clear copper coloured body. Brown malty nose, mid-sweet. Nut and caramel malty flavours added by a basement touch. Semi-sweet ending. Just alright (Derby 16.02.2016).

Fra fat på New Zealand i Derby 16 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Mørk brun. Lavt tett, lett farget skum. Syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken papp. Litt syrlig etter hvert. Avslutninga er tørket aprikos.
