Bottle. Clear golden colour, white foam. Sweet malts, light bitter finish. Some hoppiness. Boring pilsner but not very bad.

Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light grass and light malt aroma. Malt and light grass flavor. Medium bodied. Rich malt and light mineral notes linger with light grass.

Clear, yellow-golden colored, medium frothy white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, some grassy hops, bit cardboard. Taste is medium- sweet malt, grains, some grassy hops, medium- bitterness, bit cardboard. Medium-light bodied, soft carbonation, watery. Kinda harsh.

Bottle. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma and taste of pils malt, cracker, mild fruit, grass, mild hops. Not bad.

Tap at yard house Orlando after the 11% triple needed to lighten things up with other seasonal all being +10% went this route. Yellow pour. Tastes grainy, of cereal, some toast and yeast. Nose is faintly grass and pepper. Lightsvweetness and bitters.

Getrunken auf einer Geschäftsreise im Oktober 2017 in Kortrijk nachdem uns ein Kunde so richtig zur Sau gemacht hatte. Ein weiteres einfaches Bier aus Belgien. Dieses kann aber mit den deutschen Industrie-Pils nicht mithalten. Es mag im Eingang noch ganz fein sein, aber hinten raus wird es schnell fad und wässrig. Es gibt bessere.

F: thin, white, quick gone. C: yellow, clear. A: malty, sulphur, bit herbal, bit yeasty. T: malty, sweet grassy, weak but harsh bitterness, light oily mouthfeel, medium body, low carbonation, smell is not good but taste can reach average almost, 25cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

Smooth mild beginning. Neutral body, sessionable with grainy hints. Long neutral aftertaste with hints of grain and not much bitterness.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Now many people will know how much I love a bit of Bavik especially the premium pils which I will happily down a case of in one evening. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Yeast and lemon on the aroma. Now that is a completely acceptable pilsner. Not great but absolutely fine. Good hop and lemon on the finish. Wish I’d bought more for 90 euro cents a bottle. As always Bavik stands up for pale lager.
