Cask at The Hanging Bat. Clear golden body with a dense white head. Excellent lacing. Mild aroma of pine, straw and grass. Flavour of leafy hops, apricot and straw. No trace of the alcohol. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation prickle. An unusually dull beer from a fantastic brewery.

Keg @ Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington. Pours murky orange-brown and highly carbonated. Exceedingly fruity with some prominent orangey elements and a slight spicy character. Very enjoyable, as usual from SW.

Keg at CASC, Aberdeen. It pours hazy deep amber with a small beige head. The nose is pine, floral, resin, spice, croissant, grapefruit and tangerine. The taste is pine, floral, grapefruit, peppery, brown bread, toasty, lemon peel and some alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice balance and high drinkability.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours clear copper with a small white head. Aromas of toffee and fruit, expected a bit more hop. Taste has a good balance between the first sweet taste, then a bitter finish. Good.
