Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Ruby colour with a small beige head. Aroma is caramel, some toffee, mild rye bready tones with some earth. Flavour is surprisingly much wort, some bread, mild rye bready tones with some toasted and mild herbal notes. A bit on the watery side of things.

500ml bottle, many thanks to Finn. Good looking with its slowly diminishing, dense, fawn-coloured head. Deep mahogany coloured body with rustic shade. Malty aroma of dark caramel and earth joined by notes of dried fruits. Rich blended taste of dark malts, including a nice backdrop of sweet and salt liquorice, as well as hints of dark bread, dark spices, and dried fruits. Bittersweet malt-fruity finish with a nice touch of leafy hops. Soft carbonated. Medium bodied. Autumn feel. Really a bit of everything in this one. A pleasant surprise (at home in Tromsø 18.10.2014).

Flaske 500ml fra Alko Muonio. Dyp brunrød. Ualminnelig lite skum. Beskjeden bæraroma. Smaken nøtteaktig med innslag av bær. Svakt syrlig bitter avslutning. Litt sedimenter igjen på flaska.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 30.07.15, from Alko, 20140905) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, caramel, metallicness and chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, chocolate, metallicness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. An unbalanced malty brew.

50cl bottle from Alko. Dark brown, thin off-white head. Bready, doughy aroma, some roastedness. Thin, almost watery. Bread dominates the flavor, caramel, mineral notes. Rye, nuts in the dry finish. Very simple and boring.

A dark brown beer with a weak and beige head. The aroma is good and interesting, chocolate, dark bread, roastiness, some liquirice and meat. Taste has same elements as in the aroma, dark bread, some chococlate, mild roastiness, in the middle also dark chocolate, some bitterness in the end. Taste is still quite light and short. Almost medium bodied, low carbonation. Surprisingly, quite good beer, nice chocolate.

Bottle from Alko. Dark ruby color, small beige head. Caramel, bready aroma. Like in na beer. Medium-bodied. Caramelly, worty flavor. Some late harsh bitterness. Like industrial alcoholic kvass.
