Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2014. Dark mahogany brown ruby red coloured pour with a lasting tan head. Aroma is nutty choc, earthy bark, light berry. Flavour is milky choc! Sweet but a bit thin, earthy wood notes. Palate is medium full, moderate carbonation, lingering charged wood. Bit too sweet.

Fra gravity-cask på St Albans Beer & Cider festival 25 Sep 14. Svart. Veldig lavt skum med litt farge. Skummet blir nesten helt borte. Smaken er søt røstet malt. Smaken forbausende nøytral med litt kaffe i ettersmaken.

Half pint, cask ale from the brewery’s own bar at St Albans Beer Festival ’14. Shimmering black naked surface. Poor lacing. Clear rosewood coloured body. Prunes and dark malts to the nose. Dark chocolate, caramel, and prunes to the taste character. Slightly roasted bitter ending. Easy to drink. Satisfying (25.09.2014).
