Poured from a cask on hand at the Inverness airport. Has no aroma to speak of, eery really. Pours with a perfect head, solid as a rock, and a fine brown-copper body. Flavour is a nice sweet malt and hazelnut flavour with a dry finish. Its very tasty and highly sessionable.

Cask at The Archibald Simpson, JDW, Aberdeen. Pours clear russet with a doamy, light beige head. Lightly toasted malt aroma with hints of caramel. Hello there, nice flavor! Has a nice, roasted toffee character, with some creamy caramel, hints of coffee and cocoa, mild leafy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Sweet, bready finish, lightly bitter, some creamy caramel, hints of ripe fruits, light vanilla, light bitterness. A very decent bitter, this.
