From cask at the brewpub. Pours murky brown with a little bubbly head. Raspberry and woody, slight sulphorish aroma, also with a distinct chemical note. Flavour is sulphorish, dry and with that distinct chemical paint note, but also has clear notes of dry and sourish raspberries. Ends with rather dry note and quite chemical. Not good :(

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. (lagered 8 months) Murky brown with a minimal tan head. Lots of raspberries in the aroma, but it somehow feels a little artificial. There’s sourness and a little hint of oxidation too. The flavor is mostly raspberries as well, with sourness and a some wood. Tart, palate cleansing, astringent mouthfeel. Raspberries, sourness and wood in the finish. A nice beer to start the day with ;-) (070512)

300ml on tap of this award winning beer at the brewpub. Creamy head over an opaque brown-red body. Lambic aroma of raspberries. Sharp acidity in taste with a slight yeasty end. Alright, but still not quite my style (12.01.2007).

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy dark amber color with red shades. Very strange aroma, hospital antiseptic and light raspberries. Medium body, with some sugars, the fruits and again this unbelievable chemical flavor. Completely dumb fermentation/yeast, a flop! Disgusting.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a dark reddish/brown colour with a large longlasting pinkish head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Sweet malty raspberry flavor with some sourness. Sweet fruity raspberry finish.

(On tap) Hazy and completely opaque dark brown with a delicately creamy, beige head leaving notes - almost nitro like. Distinct raspberry aroma. Medium body with dry, acidic notes and a distinct raspberry flavour. An odd bitterish edge. The brewmaster estimated the beer to be 8% ABV at the moment and it will develop further as the Brett chews more of the fruit and malt sugars for more alcohol and acidity. Quite an interesting brew. 241106

An opaque dark red beer with huge pinkish beige head - something like whipped cream with a bit of raspberry juice in. The aroma is very delicious with powerful raspberry notes. The flavor starts out really lovely with strong notes of raspberries combined with notes of wood and some acidity - and hints that reminds me of over ripe cherries. A lovely start, but it lacks body inspite of the 7.5% ABV, and lacks a depth. It is not as good as the "handbrewed" version that won the Danish Championships.
