Beige-brownish head with good retention atop of a black body with deep ruby shades. Smell of whisky and dark fruits. Whisky taste, alright, and dark roasted malts added by oak vanilla sweetness partly offset by a nice backdrop of dark berries - blackcurrant, I would say. Enjoyable, however, still rather sweet. Well kept real ale, half pint, served at the North Bar in Leeds, 11.07.2010.
