Jackdaw (3.3%) based on the brew previously called Twin City, this Dark Mild has a lovely roasted malt flavour. A little fresh ginger is added late to the copper to introduce a note of exotic spice to the palate.

Cask, as Facers Smithfield Mild, shared with Finn at Smithfield Hotel & Bar. Mahogany coloured body, headless, spotty lacing. Earthy, dark malty nose. Grainy chocolate taste added by a spicy touch. Easy drinking, good mild (Manchester, 21.01.2013).
