Cask ale, half at the White Star. White patchy head to a near-clear golden body. Good lacing. Floral aroma with citrus notes. Dry lemony hops in flavour as well as a bite of earthy malts. Dry bitter ending. On par with the style (Liverpool, 08.04.2013).

Pale yellow straw, clear, frothy bubbly head, no lacing
Aroma - light fruity pale malt, little on the nose
Taste - light pale fruits, soft fairly sweet light caramel malt, easy going
Palate - thin body, bit oily. Finish as main flavour, light fruits, soft sweet pale malt, hint of biscuit
Overall - Average standard golden ale
