Bottle at Cafe Sara. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, choclate. Flavour is the same. Ordinary / OK beer.

500ml bottle at Café Sara, kindly shared by OleR. Clear pitch black body. Faint, tan-coloured head. Poor lacing. Liquorice and dark malty aromas. Rather rich taste of roasted coffee and liquorice. Rounded malt bitterness to the finish. Fine bodied. Well-made version of the style (Oslo 20.06.2014).

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Appearance: Deep dark color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: A well blended beer. Lots of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate.
Overall impression: Tasty nice Baltic porter.
