Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is very harsh and boozy, dark malts, soap, unripe banana, almond essence, alcohol, caramel, yeast. Taste is sweet soapy, chlorine, dark sugar, caramel, cardboard, booze, almond essence, pine needles. Longlasting bitterness, harsh soapy mouthfeel. Holy crap on a cracker, what did they do with this one?!

Draught, 300ml served at a fine drinking temperature at Beer Palace. Opaque dark orange coloured body, spotty lacing from a non-existing head. Aroma of raisin and sweet spices. Dried fruity flavours, hints of raisin and prunes detected, joined by dough and cardamom. Bittersweet finish with tingling alcohol. Full bodied. Decent version of a Barley Wine (Oslo 11.03.2014).

Appearance: Clear deep nutty color with a fine tan head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, deep malty and some alcohol.
Palate: Medium to full body. Sweet and an ok bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Malty, raisins, fruity and a bit alcohol.
Overall impression: Not my style. And a bit to much alcohol coming up.
