Light haze on this amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, Modest fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, mildly sweet and with a trace of caramel. Mild floralness, Thin and recessed marmalade. Light finish. Severely lacking hops.

Clear deep chestnut brown colour, large frothy light beige head, good retention, sticky lacing. Aroma is malt, caramel, nutty, dark fruits, some pine; taste is medium bitter and light sweet, malty and hoppy, caramel, average duration. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is dry bittersweet, herbal and mineral notes, lacks a bit of body but pleasant anyway.

Bottle shared during the Cad’s 10th anniversary bash - Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear, dark gold with a white cream topping. The nose holds minerals, pine, faint smoke and melon. Medium sweet flavor with some citrusy tang, pale bread, drying minerality. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean on the finish with some dry pale bread, more minerals, citrus rind. OK.

Coppery color with a quickly diminishing head. Aroma has notes of resins hops with light caramel. Flavor is mild bittery with orangish hints. Light bitterness in the final. I expected more of this brewers...
