Svart med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter humle, jord og noe animalsk lukt, middels fylde og bitterhet. Salt lakris mot salmiakk, noe solbær. Middels lang salt avslutning.

On tap at Daglighallen, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small white head. Aroma brings out light toasted malt and a little piney hops. Flavour is on the fruity side for the style, with light roast and medium piney hops. Very well-balanced and highly drinkable. Very good.

400ml, 6.5 % abv, on tap at the brewpub. Low beige head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Pitch black coloured body with a deep ruby shade. Aroma of dark malts, wood and pine. Flavoured with a nice mix of grainy chocolate, dark fruits and pine needles towards the finish. Oily palate. Fine bodied. A pretty tasty one (Trondheim 29.10.2014).

Sinful black color with a thick nice beige head that gives a lot of lacing down the glass. Nice aroma. Smooth chocolate, mild grapefruit hoppy and coffee. Medium + body. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation and a bit creamy mouth feeling. Coffee, licorice, chocolate, hoppy and mild fruity flavor. A really nice ale.
