Gingerbread, roast and some odd kind of root-like musk I can't put my foot on. Maybe nutmeg?. Black pour with good head and lacing. All elements are subtle, but sublty pushed in a direction I don't love. The subtly just makes it drinkable. Bittersweet end. Tap at Red Apron.

750 ml bottle, shared by Sander, thanks!
Black body, with a big, creamy, lacing dark beige head.
Aroma of gingerbread, cinnamon, cocoa, toffee, coffee, roasted nuts, some honey.
Tastes similar, very smooth.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes smooth, moderate roasty, moderate sweet, spicy, with dark chocolate, honey, roasted nuts, gingerbread, cocoa powder, some coffee.

Tasty. Very smooth to drink, with the alcohol completely hidden. Lovely combination of sweet spices, chocolatey notes and just enough roasty notes. Perfect christmas beer.

0,75l bottle at home shared by Sander, big thanks. Sander thinks it should be from 2016(?). almost black color, small tan head. smells of cinnamon, spices, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, earthy. very very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, earthy, vanilla, cinnamon, peppery, nutmeg, cloves, speculoos. finishes lightly bitter with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and some vanilla notes. very very nice one, loved the smell, taste is good too but not totally totally well rounded almost a bit harsh, still very nice and complex beer, especially considering its on the lower end of the Imp Stout spectrum.
