Half pint, cask ale at The Victoria Inn. Naked surface, upper part lacing, clear, deep dark brown body. Mild liquorice aroma, slightly roasted. Caramel malty taste. Distant roasted bitterness to the ending. Very soft in the mouth. Well made mild, not overly thin. (Colchester 13.07.2017).
