500ml can, batch 19, bought at Gulating Ølutslag, Trondheim. A near-black body under a medium sized, fawn coloured head. Scattered lacing on the glass. Dark doughy. mid-sweet smell. Dark chocolate malty flavours with notes of lactose and earth. Slightly roasted, mid-sweet malty ending. Medium bodied. Decent. (Hotel Room, Trondheim 24.06.2017).

Can, shared by bergstaden. Very dark brown in the glass, with a small, beige head. Lots of roasted malts and coffee in the aroma, with hints of licorice, some dark chocolate malt and some dark chocolate. It’s medium bodied, smooth and pleasantly carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts and coffee. Some ashtray hints, dark chocolate and heavily roasted malts. Long finish with lots of roasted malts in the very end. A bit thin bodied but sure a fine brew. 170311
