Malty. Caramel. Balanced. A deep red ale, malty sweetness aroma with a full rich body. The malt drives the taste without it becoming too fruit like, with pine aromas and taste from the hops. A pleasant aftertaste with a slightly bittersweet finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O'Nails, Bristol August 2017. Deep amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Red berry and orange fruit, leafy hops, bready malts and a moderately finish. Fine.

Hazy ruby color with a tan head that ends up as a layer on top. Some dotted lacing down the sides of the glass. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a decent carbonation level (soft to average). Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready, roast and mild fruity flavor. Decent session able amber ale. Fine bitterness.

Cask ale, half-pint, at Orange Tree, Chelmsford. Deep brown-reddish coloured body. Filmy layer. Spotty lacing. Leafy hops and almond to the nose. Malt-fruity flavours of earthy malts, almond and leafy hops. Well hopped bitter tail. Tasty brew (Shared with Cunningham 19.02.2017).
