Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, grapes, grass, raisins, minerals, alcohol, yeast, fruit stones, weeds, bark, old cellar, hints of raw cabbage. Taste is dry sour-ish mineraly, fruit stones, grass, weeds, yeast, grapes, raisins, minerals, alcohol, hay, sorrel, metal tank. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Not really my cup of coffee.

330 ml bottle, Lot 4917, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10%. Reddish brown colour, small off-white head. Unusual aroma of spices, brown kandij sugar and dried fruits, a hint of solvent. Light bodied for a 10% beer. The flavour is medium sweet, again notes of brown kandij sugar, also some caramel and dried fruits, and some undefined but unpleasant notes. Not very well balanced, and certainly no trappist.

Bottle contributed by KR at his Barasje 08.11.17. Dark chestnut. Beige head. Acidity and brett in aroma and taste, still with dark malt, roasted nuts and some hops. Fine and refreshing aftertaste, with acidity and brett.
