From 500 ml can. Aroma: Very slight cereal with some ether notes and tiny meat accents. Not very impressive. Fading out rapidly. Appearance: Golden blond very clear. Very sparkling head, average thickness also fading out rapidly. No lacing. Taste: Malt accents are rapidly showing up but remain very discreet. also showing tiny notes of cereal and hay. At higher temperature sugars are revealing a little caramel. Finish is showing a lazy bitterness with no particular accent. Missing a bit of complexity. Mouth feel is thin with a lack of body. Balance is good though. Just drinkable. Not the best pilsner I’ve tasted.

Enjoyed on tap at the Steam Whistle Brewery near the Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON. Overall I can’t say this was a bad brew, not very impressive but decent. Appearance is a light cloudy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is light and dry, not too much to it. Taste is decent, like a nice typical pilsener. Overall, happy that I had this complimentary 6 oz sample, and also happy that I didn’t pay $6 for a 16 oz portion.

Bottle in Waterloo, Ontario, 1st May 2013, best beer of a bad bunch on a poor evening selection. It has some flavour, a step up from the mass produced stuff, not my style

Blond color. The aroma at first shows some corn, then some regular malt. Smooth mouthfeel; some malt flavor, not poor like mass Lagers, but not too interesting; correct bitterness.
Decent Lager.

Originally rated June 2005. Nice "old school-looking" green 341ml bottle. One of my favorite easy to get refreshing pilsner from Ontario. Pours a golden colour with medium carbonation. The head is big, but does not last very long. Lacing is there to save the day though. The nose is very grainy, very smooth smelling. The taste also starts on the grain side and lands into a slight bitter finish, with hints of mint. I just love this beer... try it after grass-cutting... just like I’m doing right now.

The Beer Store 500ml can: Pours a glden colour with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is grainy and hoppy. Taste is bready, grassy, grainy, and a little tiny bit sweet towards the finish. Crisp and refreshing. This is literally a beer that you could enjoy at any time. I approve.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks to the girl who brought this. Clear golden. Sweetish cereals aroma with a faint hoppy hint. Sweetish grainy cereals flavor. Not good.

Aroma: Slightly skunky smell. Some dusty, bready notes.

Appearance: Light golden body. Completely clear. Lots of carbonation. Thin head that quickly dissipates.

Taste: Crisp taste (much better than the aroma, thankfully). Very easy to drink.

Palate: Very thin mouthfeel - it’s as weak as water. Nice carbonation.

Overall: Not as bitter as other pilsners I’ve tasted, but this is a good ’go-to’ beer. Despite its musty aroma, it’s very moreish. Plus, the packaging is very cool.

Not a bad pilsner for a Canadian brew company. Taste shows a bit of hops, thought nothing out of the ordinary or anything. On tap at the Georgetown Inn in Canmore
