This beer is a pale yellow with a bright white head that disappears extremly quick. Harsh notes of a Skunks Ass!! Other tha that I can smell a slight vapour of alcohol. A little grain and maybe some sugar??? First taste was a typical pilsner. Almost a corn/hoppy taste to it. Finishes watery with a somewhat clean palate. This reminds me of a glorified Labatt Blue. Just a little better.

Crystal golden colour with a thin white head. Strong aroma of corn, yeast and a bit of wheat. Tastes of corn and a tiny bit of malt. Short aftertaste comprised of corn, a bit of metal and a tiny bit of malt. Overall, not bad, but not worth buying much of. I got this twelve ounce bottle from my friend on a recent trip to Toronto. Evidently you cannot import this beer to the United States because it hasn't been pasteurised? Regardless, I sampled this from a 341 mL bottle purchased in Toronto at the brewery.

This is a pilsner like I'm a Sherpa. Bland, bland, bland. These guys only brew the one product, under the theory that if Creemore can do it, so can they. Difference being that Creemore is a flavourful, quality beer, while Steamwhistle is a cool bottle. Even on re-evaluation, this beer holds little appeal. The odd bit of maltiness, some unhappy English-tasting hops, no body.
