From can at Minimø, Mini-Molde-ølfestival, 11.10.24. Ebony. Beige head and lacing. Strong aroma and taste of tobacco, burnt circuits boards, creosote, smoked sausages and bonfire. They seem to have been to generous with the smokedmalt for a baltic porter,

Lakris, fyldig men lakrisrot slår resten av ølet litt ihjel.

Bottled@AIH128. Drank in 2020, BBE on bottle 2024. Congratulations once again to Norwegian breweries for putting insanely stupid BBE dates (though a Baltic Porter actually has the potential of suriving). Brown colour, huge beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, cooked vegetables, mild tart wooden tones with some slight chocolaty tones. Flavour is coffee, spices, some tartness and mild chocolaty tones too.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate, mild coffee, liquorice and star anise, a hint of smoke. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also a hint of honey, moderate bittering hops. Quite enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. Some curtains left from a dense light tan head. Dark reddish brown body, and a sweetish aroma of caramel, dried fruits, roasted malts, some burnt notes and molasses. The flavor has a little bitterness towards the finish, with sweet caramel and dried fruits flavors initially, along with roasted and burnt malts. Full body and a soft carbonation level. Overall, a bit on the sweet side, and a tad dull, but sure not bad. 190222
